About Finches

Our vision

We envision a world where volatility no longer threatens our food systems - and where sourcing decisions are adaptive, anticipatory, and fair. Where farmers are supported, purchasers are confident, and the future is something we can all manage.

But really, our story starts in the field: where shifting seasons, devastating storms, and fragile supply chains made us ask: What if the people who feed the world could see risks coming? We’re building the answer.

What we do

Finches analyses a complex network of environmental data and maps it to your supply chain to predict risks specific to your organisation.

We turn complex environmental and farm data into clear, decision-ready insights for sourcing teams.

With Finches, corporates can predict risks, secure supply, and build resilient, sustainable food systems.

Why we exist

Our world is becoming increasingly volatile due to climate change, political dynamics and demographic changes. Price flucutiations, shifting seasons, and extreme weather events are destabilizing the supply chains we all rely on.

Traditional sourcing strategies simply can’t keep up.

Finches exists to bridge that gap:
to give corporations the predictive tools they need so that risk doesn’t become crisis and resilience becomes the norm.

The way we work

We believe the best solutions are built with the people who use them. That’s why co-creation is at the heart of everything we do:

Solving real life problems together with organisations, agronomists, farmers, and subject matter experts.

Simple user design, offline capabilities, and robust data even when infrastructure is weak.

Transparent data processing, clear risk metrics, and scientifically validated models you can rely on.
